OGK Raleigh Open Kitchen

Drop in. Tie on an apron. Cook up some good

Open Kitchen is OGK’s twice-monthly volunteer event — a relaxed, hands-on way to help prepare fresh meals for people in our community who could use a little extra care. No cooking experience needed. Come solo, bring a friend, or stop by with your crew. We’ll have the ingredients, music, recipes, and aprons ready — you just show up ready to chop, stir, pack, laugh, and be part of something good.

What to Expect

Each Open Kitchen session includes a simple menu, guided prep stations, good music, and plenty of room to jump in where you’re needed. You might help prep ingredients, cook, portion meals, label containers, or pack everything up and get it ready to go.

RSVP

Open Kitchen is free to attend, but space is limited.

Please RSVP so we can save you a spot and plan enough ingredients, stations, and supplies. Sponsorships are welcome and help us prepare even more fresh meals for the community.
