A Chanukah party that made your Bubby proud! Hosted in a brand new venue in Boylan Heights, this bash was replete with great food, fresh donuts, a live band, and some of Raleigh’s greatest young Jews.

Lag Baomer at the Garden

The vibe: Think rustic, outdoorsy chic meets garden party.

The place: The beautiful grounds of the organic Well Fed Community Garden

The food: Authentic artisanal brick-oven pizza, fresh spring-inspired sides made from organic produce straight from the garden, fine wines, craft beers, and more.

The chef: Get wined and dined by Arthur Gordon, founder of the award-winning Irregardless Cafe, who was our in-house chef for the evening.

Lag Baomer at the garden was fantastic. Dozens of young Jewish professionals relaxing together with a traditional Lag Baomer bonfire & great music.

Ultimate Purim Rodeo

We turned a boring ole’ Monday night upside onto a boot slappin’ good time in honor of Purim! We celebrated at the Big Boss Brewing Company with some western BBQ style grub, craft beers on tap, Megillah reading, a new take on hamantaschen, classic Jewish country tunes and more!

A consciously cozy holiday get-together

This Chanukah was all about getting comfy, wrapping up in the fluffiest sweater and celebrating the Festival of Light-- the coziest holiday of the year. Together, we shared in all of our favorite winter flavors and rituals: delicious blankets, candlelight, comfort foods, hot drinks, board games, presents and presence-- all of the little things that warm the heart and soul in the most miraculous way.

CYP Cares Challah Bake

Young Jewish professionals gathered to learn the art of baking gourmet Challah, discovering the secrets of our nation's mystic bread. CYP partnered with Jewish Family Services for this event— Each attendee baked two Challahs - one to take home, and one to be distributed to Jewish famiies in need by JFS.
